This is by far the best Mexican place around. The wait staff is really good and the food is excellent. For being in Saratoga the prices aren’t bad. They even give you a free dessert at the end. I love this place and would go here over any other place including steakhouses Italian restaurants etc. Once again did I say I love this place

Have been to El Mexicano many times over the past few years (COVID outdoor seating). Food and service have always been top notch, and we have never been disappointed. One of the best for traditional style Mexican food.  Excellent, and any easy recommendation.

El Mexicano is the best Mexican food in the state of New York!  Not only do they start you off with complementary chips and salsa but you also get a cheese quesadilla!  The food is authentic Mexican that taste like someone’s prized family recipes.   The decor is a feast for the eyes including art work on the table tops and walls.  The margaritas are perfectly prepared.

We barely sat down and they came over we salsa and chips.  They did the same with the margaritas and even my daughter’s virgin strawberry Margarita.  They even brought a soft tortilla with melted cheese while we waited for the appetizers!  The food was great and authentic.  I  had the abanil platter with shrimp.  All the portions were so big we took them home.   Great food  and service.  If I’m ever in the area again this is a must.

Best Mexican food around. Beats most of the “authentic” Mexican food joints in Texas, where I spent 4 years. BEST SERVICE ANYWHERE. They serve you well, the prices are fantastic, and the food is mouth watering.

If in Saratoga Springs (NY not at Disney World) El Mexicano Restaurant would be a great place for a quick, reasonable, and great meal. The salsa was very flavorful and had a nice kick. The Combo#4, chicken enchilada and beef chimichanga was the perfect size and very tasty. I’ve never seen a chimi that size before, but it’s really genius to be able to have it on a combo meal. Then the chimi dessert was the perfect finish. Service here is beyond reproach as every server walking by will take care of any needs.

Authentic Mexico food. We ordered taco/burrito combination. Everything, including the rice and bean, is very delicious. Nice staffs here too! High recommend!

Incredible service.  Very attentive and are knowledgeable of the menu.  The Pollo Mexteca is enough for two.  The #2 Combination was very good.  Taco, Enchilada & Tamale w/rice & beans.  Light dessert provided after the meal.

So much food, and it it’s so good. The guacamole was as good as in Mexico.  Everything was delicious! And the staff were amazing. We came at the end of the night. They had so much energy after a long day.   Well worth it to eat here. Highly recommend.
